It depends on how hard it works and what the reading is used for. A busy quarry bridge weighing for sale is usually checked far more often than a low-traffic internal bridge. If the weight is used as the basis of a sale, it also has to stay within its trade-approval requirements. Tell us your throughput and what the readings are used for and we will recommend an interval.
Yes. We service all makes and models of industrial weighing equipment, whoever supplied it. Send the make, model and serial number with your enquiry and we will confirm before we come out.
Most maintenance and repair visits are scheduled for an hour; a full weighbridge maintenance and repair visit is scheduled for two. Bridges that need parts ordered will need a second visit, and we will tell you that on the day rather than leaving you guessing.
Because a 60-tonne pit-mounted weighbridge and a bench scale are not the same job. Send us the specification and you get a real number rather than a headline rate that changes when we arrive.
Calibration is us adjusting the equipment so it reads correctly, and documenting what it read before and after. Verification is the legal check that equipment used for trade meets its approved accuracy class. We do both. So if your bridge is the basis of a sale, it can be calibrated and verified on the same visit instead of you coordinating two firms around one shutdown.
